A provider of a blood pressure monitor and heart health app scored $70M in new funding

A Menlo Park startup has raised $70 million as it pushes to get employers to help their workers improve their heart health.

Hello Heart Inc. offers a portable blood pressure monitor and a smartphone app that people can use to track their blood pressure, pulse, medications, weight and activity. The app notifies caregivers when patients' readings get high and encourages them to reach out to their physicians and healthcare professionals.
